Unique Carpoint booster cables with yellow safety plug with polarity indication. This ensures that the booster cables are always connected to the correct terminals. The booster cable consists of two parts and is color coded (red and black) with on each end a yellow safety plug with LED indication.

Connection and operation of booster cable/safety plug:

Before connecting the safety plug to each other, connect the booster cables to the first vehicle. Connect the red booster cable to the + terminal of the battery and the black cable to the - terminal of the battery. If the LED indication lights up, the booster cable is properly connected. Then repeat this step for the other vehicle. If both LED indicators on the yellow safety plug are illuminated, a connection can be made by plugging the safety plugs together. The vehicle can then be started with the empty battery. Once the vehicle has started, disassemble the safety plug and remove the battery terminals.
