Dresco Fork Spreader Tool
Changing a tyre without removing the whole wheel is possible with the Dresco fork expander. A lot of force is needed to expand the rear fork. Clamp the fork expander between the chainstays and easily turn the chainstay apart. This creates space to remove the inner and outer tyre along the rear axle and to fit a new one. The rear fork restores itself to its original shape by turning the fork expander back.
The plastic protection on the expanders prevents damage to your rear fork. Tip: Before using the fork spreader, grease the thread of the fork spreader.
