The Carpoint battery charger is a smart and fully automatic charger for 6 and 12 Volt motorcycle and car batteries. The intelligent microprocessor-controlled battery charger restores totally discharged or sulphated batteries.  This processor ensures that the battery charges in phases and that the charging process is twice as fast as a standard battery charger. The charger can charge lead acid, calcium, AGM, start-stop and gel batteries and is suitable for charging at sub-zero temperatures.

The 5-step battery charging and maintenance is fully automatic. 

• Step 1: Diagnostics and recovery. 
• Step 2: Bulk: Charging at high or average speed. 
• Step 3: Absorption: Full charging to almost 100%. 
• Step 4: Standby function: The charger monitors the battery’s current. 
• Step 5: Trickle charging: Charges the battery to 14.4 Volt if it drops below 12.8 Volt. Protected against overheating, short circuit and incorrect connection. Charging starts once the correct charging mode has been selected. Charging up to a maximum of 3.5 amps, depending on the type of battery. The charger is supplied with battery terminal clamps with snap-lock connector.
